inner revolution
inner revolution
Originally established as the name of my company, the concept of inner revolution has been with me for decades. Inner revolution is about recognizing that one has to take responsibility for both the good and the bad in their life. It does no good to blame things on others. If there is something in your life that you don’t like you have to find it within yourself to change it.
This is no new concept. This has been expressed may times over the years, including by some of my favorite artists.
Adrian Belew from the song “Inner Revolution” states: “There’s something in your life you don’t like you’ve got the power to change it. You can’t fix it with a drug, can’t kill it with a gun. Inner revolution, that’s the way it is done.”
Richard Bach, from the book Illusions -- The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah wrote: “Every person, all the events of your life are there becase you have drawn them there. What you choose to do with them is up to you.”
Bob Marley wrote in “Redemption Song”, “Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; none but ourselves can free our minds.” Although, I prefer the Joe Strummer - Johnny Cash duet best.
Welcome to the revolution!
